Translations

(Etheridge) nor also be servers of idols, as some of them served; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play;

(Murdock) Neither should we serve idols, as some of them served; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to sport.

(Lamsa) Neither should we become idolaters as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to quarrel.
