Mark 12:40 - ܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܳܐܟ݂ܠܺܝܢ ܒ݁ܳܬ݁ܶܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܪܡܠܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܒ݁ܥܶܠܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܡܰܘܪܟ݂ܺܝܢ ܨܠܰܘܳܬ݂ܗܽܘܢ ܗܶܢܽܘܢ ܢܩܰܒ݁ܠܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܺܝܢܳܐ ܝܰܬ݁ܺܝܪܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) they who devour the houses of widows, and for the occasion prolong their prayers: they shall receive the greater judgment.

(Murdock) They devour the houses of widows, under pretence that they prolong their prayers. These shall receive a greater condemnation.

(Lamsa) Those who embezzle the property of widows, with the pretense of making long prayers. They shall receive greater judgment.

(KJV) Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.
