Translations

(Etheridge) BUT a certain man, whose name was Jauseph, a senator from Rometha, a city of Jehud, a man (who) was good and just:

(Murdock) And there was a certain man, whose name was Joseph, a counsellor, from Ramath a city of Judaea, who was a good man and righteous;

(Lamsa) There was a man named Joseph the counsellor of Arimathaea, a city of Judaea, a good and righteous man.

(KJV) And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:
