Translations

(Etheridge) BUT when Jeshu saw the multitudes, he had compassion upon them, because they fainted and were dispersed as sheep that had no shepherd;

(Murdock) And when Jesus looked on the multitudes, he pitied them; because they were wearied and dispersed, like sheep that have no shepherd.

(Lamsa) When Jesus saw the multitudes, he had compassion on them, because they were tired out and scattered, like sheep which have no shepherd.

(KJV) But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
