Translations

(Etheridge) And he sent ^[and] cut off the head of Juchanon in the house of the chained.

(Murdock) And he sent and cut off the head of John in the prison.

(Lamsa) So he sent and had John beheaded in the prison.

(KJV) And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
