Translations

(Etheridge) Wherefore I the more diligently came when you sent for me. But I ask you, on what account you have sent for me ?

(Murdock) Therefore I came readily, when ye sent for me. But, I ask you, for what cause did ye send for me?

(Lamsa) This is why I came at once when you sent for me: but now let me ask you, for what reason have you sent for me?

(KJV) Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?
