Translations

(Etheridge) But while they went, there came certain from those guards into the city, and told the chief priests every thing that had been done.

(Murdock) And while they were going, some of the guards came into the city, and told the chief priests all that had occurred.

(Lamsa) When they were going, some of the guards came into the city, and told the high priests everything that had happened.

(KJV) Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
