Translations

(Etheridge) BUT when it was morning, the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jeshu, how they should put him to death.

(Murdock) And when it was morning, the chief priests and the elders of the people held a council against Jesus, how they might put him to death.

(Lamsa) WHEN it was morning, the high priests and the elders of the people took counsel concerning Jesus, how to put him to death.
