Translations

(Etheridge) And they were astonished at his doctrine, for with power was his word.

(Murdock) And they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was authoritative.

(Lamsa) And they were astonished at his teaching; because his word had power.

(KJV) And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
