Translations

(Etheridge) And the name of the star is called Aphsinthos; and the third of the waters became bitterness, and many men died from the waters because they were bitter.

(Murdock) And the name of the star was called Wormwood; and a third part of the waters became wormwood; and many persons died from the waters, because they were bitter.

(Lamsa) And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
