Translations

(Etheridge) And the heavens were sundered ^{[Ethphareshu.]} as a book that is rolled, and all the mountains and islands from their places were moved;

(Murdock) And the heavens separated, as a book is rolled up: and all mountains and islands were removed out of their places.

(Lamsa) And the heavens separated, as a scroll when it is rolled separately; and every mountain and island shifted from its resting place.

(KJV) And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
