Translations

(Etheridge) And I wept much, because no one could be found who was worthy to open the book, or to inspect it.

(Murdock) And I wept much, because no one was found, who was competent to open the book, or to look on it.

(Lamsa) And I wept exceedingly, because no man was found worthy to open the book, neither to look on it.

(KJV) And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
