Translations
(Etheridge) And he entered, and said to them, Why make you a tumult, and weep ? the damsel is not dead, but asleep.
(Murdock) And he entered in and said to them: Why are ye in a tumult, and weep? The maid is not dead, but is asleep.
(Lamsa) So he entered and said to them, Why are you excited and crying? The little girl is not dead, but she is asleep.
(KJV) And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
