Translations

(Etheridge) And there was written the occasion of his death in the inscription, This is the King of the Jihudoyee. [Honu Malka d'Jihudoyee.]

(Murdock) And the cause of his death was written in the inscription: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

(Lamsa) And the reason for his death was inscribed in writing, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

(KJV) And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
