Translations
(Etheridge) And they said, Not on the festival, lest there be a commotion among the people.
(Murdock) But they said: Not on the festival, lest there be commotion among the people.
(Lamsa) And they said, Not during the feast, for it may cause a riot among the people.
(KJV) But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar of the people.
