John 17:15 - ܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܶܫܩܽܘܠ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܡܶܢ ܥܳܠܡܳܐ ܒ݁ܳܥܶܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܐܶܠܳܐ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܶܛܰܪ ܐܶܢܽܘܢ ܡܶܢ ܒ݁ܺܝܫܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) Not that thou wouldest take them out of the world do I pray, but that thou wouldest keep them from the evil;

(Murdock) I pray not, that thou wouldst take them out of the world, but that thou wouldst keep them from evil:

(Lamsa) What I request is not that you should take them out of the world, but that you should protect them from evil.

(KJV) I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
