Hebrews 11:29 - ܒ݁ܗܰܝܡܳܢܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܥܒ݂ܰܪܘ ܝܰܡܳܐ‌ܕ݂ܣܽܘܦ݂ ܐܰܝܟ݂ ܕ݁ܥܰܠ ܐܰܪܥܳܐ ܝܰܒ݁ܺܝܫܬ݁ܳܐ ܘܒ݂ܶܗ ܐܶܬ݂ܒ݁ܠܰܥܘ ܡܶܨܪܳܝܶܐ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܐܰܡܪܰܚܘ ܥܠܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) By faith they traversed the sea of Sooph, as those who (march) upon dry land; but the Metsroyee were swallowed up in it, when they had dared to enter it.

(Murdock) By faith, they passed the Red Sea, as on dry land; and in it the Egyptians were swallowed up, when they dared to enter it.

(Lamsa) By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land: but in it the Egyptians were drowned when they made the attempt.

(KJV) By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
