(Etheridge) And when they who were sent from them went, they found them not (in) the house of the bound; and they returned, and came,

(Murdock) And when those sent by them went, they found them not in the prison; and they returned and came back,

(Lamsa) And when those who were sent by them, went, and did not find them in the prison, they returned,

(KJV) But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they returned, and told,
