Translations

(Etheridge) And they who examined me willed to dismiss me, because they found not in me any fault worthy of death.

(Murdock) and they, when they had examined me, were disposed to release me, because they found in me no offence deserving death.

(Lamsa) Who, when they had examined me, would have released me, because they found in me no cause worthy of death.

(KJV) Who, when they had examined me, would have let me go, because there was no cause of death in me.
