Acts 23:6 - ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܝܺܕ݂ܰܥ ܦ݁ܰܘܠܳܘܣ ܕ݁ܡܶܢܶܗ ܕ݁ܥܰܡܳܐ ܐܺܝܬ݂ܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܙܰܕ݁ܽܘܩܳܝܶܐ ܘܡܶܢܶܗ ܕ݁ܰܦ݂ܪܺܝܫܶܐ ܩܥܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܒ݁ܟ݂ܶܢܫܳܐ ܓ݁ܰܒ݂ܪܶܐ ܐܰܚܰܝ ܐܶܢܳܐ ܦ݁ܪܺܝܫܳܐ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܒ݁ܰܪ ܦ݁ܪܺܝܫܶܐ ܘܥܰܠ ܣܰܒ݂ܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܩܝܳܡܬ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܡܺܝܬ݂ܶܐ ܡܶܬ݁ܕ݂ܺܝܢ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And when Paulos knew that (part) of the people were of the Zadukoyee and (part) of it of the Pharishee, he cried in the assembly, Men, my brethren, I am a Pharisha, the son of Pharishee; and for the hope of the resurrection of the dead am I judged.

(Murdock) And, as Paul knew that a part of the people were of the Sadducees, and a part of the Pharisees, he cried out, in the assembly: Men, my brethren; I am a Pharisee the son of a Pharisee; and for the hope of the resurrection of the dead, I am judged.

(Lamsa) Now when Paul perceived that part of the people were Sad'du-cees, and the others were Phar'i-sees, he cried out in the assembly, Men, my brethren, I am a Phar'i-see, the son of a Phar'i-see: and it is because of the hope of the resurrection of the dead that I am here to be judged.

(KJV) But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
