Acts 18:5 - ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܐܶܬ݂ܰܘ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܡܶܢ ܡܰܩܶܕ݂ܳܘܢܺܝܰܐ ܫܺܝܠܳܐ ܘܛܺܝܡܳܬ݂ܶܐܳܘܣ ܐܰܠܺܝܨ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܒ݁ܡܶܠܬ݂ܳܐ ܗ݈ܘ ܦ݁ܰܘܠܳܘܣ ܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܩܳܝܡܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܠܩܽܘܒ݂ܠܶܗ ܝܺܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܘܰܡܓ݂ܰܕ݁ܦ݂ܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܡܣܰܗܶܕ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܗܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܗܽܘܝܽܘ ܡܫܺܝܚܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And when from Makedunia Shilo and Timotheos had come, Paulos was constrained in his speech, because the Jihudoyee arose against him and blasphemed, while he testified to them that Jeshu is the Meshiha.

(Murdock) And when Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, Paul was impeded in discourse, because the Jews stood up against him, and reviled, as he testified to them that Jesus is the Messiah.

(Lamsa) And when Silas and Ti-mo'the-us came from Mac-e-do'ni-a, Paul felt he was not free to speak, because the Jews opposed him and blasphemed as he testified that Jesus is the Christ.

(KJV) And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.
