Translations
(Etheridge) and they requested of him to tarry with them; and he was not willing;
(Murdock) And they requested him to tarry with them: but he could not be persuaded.
(Lamsa) When they wanted him to tarry a longer time with them, he consented not;
(KJV) When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not;
