Translations

(Etheridge) on this account we were comforted in you, my brethren, in all our anxieties and our afflictions because of your faith.

(Murdock) therefore we are comforted in you, my brethren, amid all our straits and afflictions, on account of your faith.

(Lamsa) Therefore, our brethren, we have been comforted by you, in the midst of all our distress and tribulations because of your faith:

(KJV) Therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
