Matthew 9:8 - ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܚܙܰܘ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܟ݁ܶܢܫܶܐ ܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܚܶܠܘ ܘܫܰܒ݁ܰܚܘ ܠܰܐܠܳܗܳܐ ܕ݁ܝܰܗ݈ܒ݂ ܫܽܘܠܛܳܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܝܟ݂ ܗܳܢܳܐ ܠܰܒ݂ܢܰܝܢܳܫܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) When the assembly saw this, they feared, and glorified Aloha who had given such power as this unto men.

(Murdock) And when the multitudes saw [it], they were struck with awe; and they praised God, who had given authority like this to men.

(Lamsa) But when the crowds saw it, they were frightened, and they glorified God, because he had given such power as this to men.

(KJV) But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
