Translations

(Etheridge) Brood of vipers ! how can you speak good who are evil? For from the abundancies of the heart the mouth speaketh.

(Murdock) Offspring of vipers, how can ye who are evil, speak good things ? For out of the fullnesses of the heart the mouth speaketh.

(Lamsa) O generation of scorpions, how can you speak good things when you are bad? For the mouth speaks from the fullness of the heart.

(KJV) O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
