Translations

(Etheridge) And he questioned him, How is thy name? And he said to him, Legion is our name, because we are many.

(Murdock) And he demanded of him: What is thy name? And he replied to him: Our name is Legion; for we are many.

(Lamsa) And he asked him, What is your name? And he said to him, Our name is Legion, because we are many.

(KJV) And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
