Translations

(Etheridge) and they were in fear, and bowed their faces to the earth. And they said to them, Why are you seeking the living with the dead ?

(Murdock) And they were in fear, and bowed their faces to the ground. And the men said to them: Why seek ye the living among the dead?

(Lamsa) And they were afraid, and bowed their faces to the ground; and they said to them, Why do you seek the living among the dead?

(KJV) And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
