John 7:40 - ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܡܶܢ ܟ݁ܶܢܫܶܐ ܕ݁ܰܫܡܰܥܘ ܡܶܠܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܗܳܢܰܘ ܫܰܪܺܝܪܳܐܝܺܬ݂ ܢܒ݂ܺܝܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) Now many of the assemblies who heard his words said, This is truly the Prophet.

(Murdock) And many of the multitude who heard his discourses, said: Certainly, he is a prophet.

(Lamsa) Many of the people who heard his words were saying, This man truly is a prophet.

(KJV) Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
