Acts 23:15 - ܘܗܳܫܳܐ ܒ݁ܥܰܘ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܘܪܺܫܶܐ ܕ݁ܰܟ݂ܢܽܘܫܬ݁ܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܟ݁ܺܠܺܝܰܪܟ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܰܝܬ݁ܶܝܘܗ݈ܝ ܠܘܳܬ݂ܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܐܰܝܟ݂ ܒ݁ܳܥܶܝܢ ܐܢ݈ܬ݁ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܶܒ݂ܨܽܘܢ ܫܰܪܺܝܪܳܐܝܺܬ݂ ܣܽܘܥܪܳܢܶܗ ܘܰܚܢܰܢ ܡܛܰܝܒ݂ܺܝܢܰܢ ܕ݁ܢܶܩܛܠܺܝܘܗ݈ܝ ܥܰܕ݂ܠܳܐ ܢܶܡܛܶܐ ܠܘܳܬ݂ܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And now do you and the princes of the synagogue request from the tribune to bring him to you, as if you sought to investigate more truly his work, and we are prepared to kill him while he shall come to you.

(Murdock) And now, do ye and the chiefs of the congregation request of the Chiliarch, that he would bring him unto you, as if ye were desirous to investigate truly his conduct: and we are prepared to slay him, ere he shall come to you.

(Lamsa) Now you and the leaders of the council ask the captain to bring him to you, as though you were desirous to have a thorough investigation of his acts, and we are ready to kill him before he shall arrive here.

(KJV) Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as though ye would enquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him.
