Translations

(Etheridge) For so hath our Lord commanded, as it is written, I have set thee a light to the Gentiles, To be for salvation to the ends of the earth.

(Murdock) For so hath our Lord commanded us; as it is written: I have set thee a light to the Gentiles; that thou shouldst be for life unto the ends of the earth.

(Lamsa) For so has our Lord commanded us, as it is written, I have set you to be a light to the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

(KJV) For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
