1Thessalonians 4:15 - ܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܳܡܪܺܝܢܰܢ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܒ݁ܡܶܠܬ݂ܶܗ ܕ݁ܡܳܪܰܢ ܕ݁ܰܚܢܰܢ ܐܰܝܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܡܶܫܬ݁ܰܚܪܺܝܢܰܢ ܒ݁ܡܶܐܬ݂ܺܝܬ݂ܶܗ ܕ݁ܡܳܪܰܢ ܕ݁ܚܰܝܺܝܢܰܢ ܠܳܐ ܢܰܕ݂ܪܶܟ݂ ܠܰܐܝܠܶܝܢ ܕ݁ܰܕ݂ܡܶܟ݂ܘ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But this we say to you by the word of our Lord, that we who ^{[may be]} remaining at the coming of our Lord, ^[we] who ^{[then may]} live, will not precede those who have slept.

(Murdock) And this we say to you, by the word of our Lord, that we who may survive and be alive, at the coming of our Lord, shall not precede them who have slept.

(Lamsa) For this we say to you by the very word of our LORD, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of our LORD shall not overtake those who are dead.

(KJV) For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
