Translations

(Etheridge) And he then who giveth his virgin doeth well, and he who giveth not his virgin doeth better.

(Murdock) And therefore, he who presenteth his maiden [daughter], doeth commendably; and he who presenteth not his maiden [daughter], doeth very commendably.

(Lamsa) So then he who gives his virgin daughter in marriage does well; and he who does not give his virgin daughter in marriage does even better.

(KJV) So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.
