Translations
(Etheridge) and he would not suffer any man to carry goods through the temple.
(Murdock) And he suffered no one to carry goods through the temple.
(Lamsa) And he would not allow any man to bring goods into the temple.
(KJV) And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
