Translations
(Etheridge) And he heard the voice of the multitude as it was passing, and asked what was this.
(Murdock) And he heard the noise of the multitude that passed, and inquired what it was.
(Lamsa) And he heard the voice of the people passing, and asked, Who is this?
(KJV) And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
