Translations

(Etheridge) or a stone ^[Abn'na.] of stumbling, and they are offended at him in not obeying the word, because to this they are set.

(Murdock) he is a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence. And they stumble at it, because they believe not the word: whereto they were appointed.

(Lamsa) And they stumble over it because they are disobedient to the word for which they were appointed.

(KJV) And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
