Translations

(Etheridge) One of them, a prophet of their own, hath said, The sons of Kreta are always liars, evil beasts, and lazy bellies.

(Murdock) One of them, a prophet of their own, said, The Cretans are always mendacious, evil beasts, idle bellies.

(Lamsa) One of them, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cre'tians are always liars, vicious beasts with empty bellies.

(KJV) One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
