Translations

(Etheridge) BLESSED (are) the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

(Murdock) Blessed are the poor in spirit for the kingdom of heaven is theirs!

(Lamsa) Blessed are the poor in pride, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

(KJV) Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
