Translations

(Etheridge) In that hour Jeshu said to the multitudes, As against a robber are you come out, with swords, and with clubs, to seize me ? Every day with you in the temple I sat and taught, and you did not apprehend me.

(Murdock) At that time Jesus said to the multitude: Have ye come out, as against a cut-throat, with swords and clubs, to take me ? I daily sat with you, and taught in the temple, and ye did not apprehend me.

(Lamsa) At that very hour Jesus said to the people, Have you come out with swords and staves to arrest me like a bandit? I sat with you every day, teaching in the temple, and you did not arrest me.

(KJV) In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
