Translations

(Etheridge) And if you lend to them from whom you expect to be recompensed, what is your grace ? for sinners also lend to sinners, that they might be profited.

(Murdock) And if ye lend to one from whom ye expect recompense, what goodness is it in you ? For sinners also lend to sinners, to receive adequate recompense.

(Lamsa) And if you lend only to him from whom you expect to be paid back, what is your favor? for sinners also lend to sinners, to be paid back likewise.

(KJV) And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
