Luke 23:26 - ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܡܰܘܒ݁ܠܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܐܶܚܰܕ݂ܘ ܠܫܶܡܥܽܘܢ ܩܽܘܪܺܝܢܳܝܳܐ ܕ݁ܳܐܬ݂ܶܐ ܡܶܢ ܩܪܺܝܬ݂ܳܐ ܘܣܳܡܘ ܥܠܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܙܩܺܝܦ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܶܛܥܰܢ ܒ݁ܳܬ݂ܪܶܗ ܕ݁ܝܶܫܽܘܥ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) AND as they led him away, they laid hold on Shemun Kurinoya, who was coming from the country, and they laid on him the cross, that he might bear (it) after Jeshu.

(Murdock) And as they led him away, they seized Simon the Cyrenian, coming from the fields. and laid upon him the cross, to bear [it] after Jesus.

(Lamsa) And while they took him away, they laid hold of Simon, a Cyrenian, who was coming from the field, and they placed the end of the cross on him, to carry it with Jesus.

(KJV) And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.
