Translations

(Etheridge) The world cannot hate you: but me it hateth, because I bear witness against it that the works of it are evil.

(Murdock) The world cannot hate you, but me it hateth; because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil.

(Lamsa) The world cannot hate you; but it hates me, because I testify against it, that its works are evil.

(KJV) The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
