Translations

(Etheridge) Investigate the scriptures; for in them you think you have the life that is eternal, and they testify of me.

(Murdock) Search the scriptures; for in them, ye think, there is life eternal for you; and they testify of me.

(Lamsa) Examine the scriptures, in which you trust that you have eternal life; and even they testify concerning me.

(KJV) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
