Translations

(Etheridge) And now why tempt you Aloha, that you would lay a yoke upon the necks of the disciples, which nor our fathers nor we could bear?

(Murdock) And now, why tempt ye God, by putting a yoke on the necks of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we could bear?

(Lamsa) Now therefore why do you tempt God by putting a yoke upon the necks of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

(KJV) Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
