1Corinthians 1:23 - ܚܢܰܢ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܡܰܟ݂ܪܙܺܝܢܰܢ ܡܫܺܝܚܳܐ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܙܩܺܝܦ݂ ܬ݁ܽܘܩܰܠܬ݁ܳܐ ܠܺܝܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܘܠܰܐܪܡܳܝܶܐ ܫܳܛܝܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) but we preach the Meshiha crucified, a scandal to the Jihudoyee, and to the Aramoyee foolishness;

(Murdock) But we preach Messiah as crucified; [which is] a stumbling-block to the Jews, and foolishness to the Gentiles;

(Lamsa) But we preach Christ crucified, which is a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Syrians.

(KJV) But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
