Translations

(Etheridge) And they did spit in his face, and took the cane, and struck him upon his head.

(Murdock) And they spit in his face, and took the reed, and smote him on his head.

(Lamsa) And they spat in his face, and took the reed and struck him on his head.

(KJV) And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
