Translations

(Etheridge) For what is a man profited, if the whole world he gain, and his soul be lost ?

(Murdock) For, what will a man be profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose his life ?

(Lamsa) For how could a man be benefited, if he should gain the whole world and lose his life?

(KJV) For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
