Luke 20:47 - ܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܳܐܟ݂ܠܺܝܢ ܒ݁ܳܬ݁ܶܐ ܕ݁ܰܐܪܡܠܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܒ݁ܥܶܠܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܡܰܘܪܟ݂ܺܝܢ ܨܠܰܘܳܬ݂ܗܽܘܢ ܗܶܢܽܘܢ ܢܩܰܒ݁ܠܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܺܝܢܳܐ ܝܰܬ݁ܺܝܪܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) who devour the houses of widows, and for the occasion prolong their prayers: these shall receive the greater judgment.

(Murdock) who eat up the houses of widows, under pretence that they prolong their prayers. They will receive a greater condemnation.

(Lamsa) Those who embezzle the property of widows with the pretence that they make long prayers; they will receive a greater judgment.

(KJV) Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
