Translations

(Etheridge) but (there) is the one that is needed. And Mariam the good portion hath chosen, that which shall not be taken from her.

(Murdock) yet but one thing is necessary; and Mary hath chosen for herself the good part, which shall not be taken from her.

(Lamsa) But one thing is more necessary; and Mary has chosen the good portion for herself, which shall not be taken away from her.

(KJV) But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
