Translations

(Etheridge) AND it was that as they went in the way, he entered into a certain village, and a woman whose name was Martha received him into her house.

(Murdock) And it occurred, as they travelled by the way, that he entered a certain village, and a woman whose name was Martha, received him at her house.

(Lamsa) And it came to pass while they were journeying, he entered into a village; and a woman named Martha received him into her house.

(KJV) Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
