Translations

(Etheridge) BECAUSE many have willed to record histories of those transactions of which we are persuaded,

(Murdock) SINCE many have been disposed to write narratives of those events, of which we have full assurance,

(Lamsa) SINCE many have desired to have in writing the story of those works, with which we are familiar,

(KJV) Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
